Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Returning Kukui's Mask and battle Guzma
Professor Kukui is waiting back in Malie Garden but, when you get there, you'll find him being accosted by Guzma, the boss of Team Skull!
The prof can probably handle this himself, but nonetheless it's down to you to resolve it here. Take on Guzma and watch out if you have a Psychic and Dark-heavy team, as he's a pro with Bug-type Pokémon. Rock, Flying, and Electric-type attacks (given his two Pokémon's part Water/Flying typings) are all very effective here, so you should be fine!
After battling him, return the mask to Kukui, and he'll give you a reward for helping him out - the Z-Crystal for your starter Pokémon's signiature Z-Move, either Primarium Z, Incinium Z, or Decidium Z!
You're all clear to move on here, to Route 11 and the next Trials on your Island Challenge, but while you're in Malie Garden it's worth taking a second to tackle the Nugget Bridge...

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Nugget Bridge trainers and Malie Garden revisited
You may remember the name, because Nugget Bridge is actually the famous bridge north of Cerulean Town in the original Pokémon Red and Blue, which had you face off against five trainers to earn a Nugget as a reward.
Next up: Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon - Route 11, Route 12, Blush Mountain and Ula'ula Beach
This is basically an aping of that Kantonian bridge, recreated on the golden central bridge in Malie Garden. If you leave after beating Guzma and return to the garden you'll find it all set up, so simply battle your way through the trainers (always a good way to keep your Pokémon well levelled) and earn yourself that prize!
