The Last of Us Part 2 - The Aquarium: How to explore every area
The Aquarium follows on from The Last of Us Part 2's The Forward Base chapter.
This is another story-driven chapter and another Abby flashback, showing her exploring Seattle's Aquarium with Owen.
There are no missable items in this chapter - but there is a set route to follow, which this page will guide you through.

How to complete The Aquarium in The Last of Us Part 2
After jumping into the water, follow Owen along the pier.
Dive when he says so, and follow him into the Aquarium.
After diving again, go upstairs and open the corrugated door.
Now outside, follow Owen onto the boat, then go inside.
Interact with the child's clothes on the side ahead, then the drawings.
Leave the boat when ready.
Head up the ramp then try the double doors. Owen will help you up through the window above.
Continue going until you're in the large room with the whales. Have an explore and engage in some of the button prompts and conversations with Owen.
When ready to continue, interact with Max's Place - the door on the right - to find it's locked.

How to enter Max's Place in The Aquarium
Follow Owen upstairs into the Stingray Bay Cafe.
There's a note on the right you can find for some more story.
Inspect the corpse in the chair on the left for a cutscene. Owen will find the keys to Max's Place as part of it.
Now head down and enter the locked door.
Follow Owen into the lift shaft, then through the fort, to end the chapter.
