Mortal Kombat Kollection Online age-rating gets tongues wagging
Mortal Kombat Kollection Online has resurfaced.
As spotted by Gematsu, PEGI has an entry for Mortal Kombat Kollection Online, due out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, with a release date of 21st January 2020 and an 18-rating, as you'd expect.
Obviously that release date is incorrect, but everything else looks legit. Here's the official blurb:
"Mortal Kombat Kollection Online is the original Mortal Kombat trilogy that MK fans always wanted. Upgraded art, gameplay, and online features provide an incredible experience that revive the 'klassics'..."
Mortal Kombat Kollection Online was once reportedly in the works at Blind Squirrel Games, but was thought cancelled back in April 2019. Screenshots even emerged.
Whether this PEGI rating relates to this cancelled game, a brand new remaster - or nothing at all - remains to be seen. We've asked Warner Bros. for comment.
