Minecraft creator Notch has launched a new game
Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson has released Cliffhorse, a new game about a horse which lives on cliffs.
The current "early access" build can be downloaded for free from Cliffhorse.com, or you pay money for it if you have any of the internet currency Dogecoin lying around.
From our five minutes with Cliffhorse this morning there doesn't seem to be much to do at present. You control a 3D horse in a world of procedurally-generated cliffs. There's also a large brown and white marble to push around.
At present, the game has made 280,000 DOGE (about £60).
"I can't believe this somehow ended up being my first commercial game after Minecraft," Persson wrote on Twitter. Neither can we.
The creator's previous game idea, sci-fi sandbox title 0x10c, was announced in April 2012 but then canned the following year.
