Black Ops Rezurrection DLC release date
The Black Ops Rezurrection DLC pack (yes, with a Z), launches on Xbox 360 first – on 23rd August. It will, as expected, cost 1200 Microsoft Points.
The map pack goes live on PC and PlayStation 3 by the end of September, Activision said.
The purely zombie affair features five maps. Four are remakes of the World at War Zombies maps Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese. These were included in the Hardened and Prestige editions of Black Ops.
The fifth map, Moon, takes the zombies into outer space. Rezurrection will include a special Moon Xbox 360 Dashboard theme and the official Zombies soundtrack, featuring three new tracks.
From 23rd August Hardened and Prestige edition owners can download Rezurrection for free. You'll be able to go into your Download History and re-download the classic pack you already own, and the fresh download will include the new Moon map. You'll also get the soundtrack and theme, too.
Meanwhile, Activision announced that it has sold an eye-watering 25 million copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops, three million more than Modern Warfare 2. Black Ops is the best-selling game of all-time.
Looking ahead, Modern Warfare 3 pre-orders are "significantly" ahead of Black Ops'.
