How to get Dedenne in Pokémon Go explained
Dedenne, the antenna Pokémon, is a Gen 6 Pokémon who was released during the Festival of Lights event in Pokémon Go.
Throughout the Festival of Lights, you can catch Dedenne using two methods:
Dedenne should be appearing quite frequently in the wild throughout the Festival of Lights event, which means you should be able to add it to your Pokédex quite easily.
If, however, you are having trouble tracking it down, then you might want to try placing a Magnetic Lure at one of your favourite PokéStops. Since electric-types are one of the Pokémon types which are specifically attracted to Magnetic Lures, then there's a chance you'll encounter a Dedenne.
One-star raids are also a great way to easily grab a Dedenne, because you should be able to easily tackle this Pokémon by yourself. You can learn more about Dedenne's weaknesses and counters in the section below.
Remember - you can use Remote Raid Passes to join raids from across the globe from the comfort of your own home!
We don't currently know what the spawn rate for Dedenne will be once the Festival of Lights has finished, but, like the majority of the recently released Pokémon, it will mostly likely be quite a rare encounter. For this reason, we highly recommend catching a Dedenne before the event ends - you only need to catch one after all!
The Season of Go has arrived! The Pokémon TCG Crossover event is here, which includes the release of Wimpod and Golisopod. While Go Fest 2022 may be behind us, there are still three special research quests you might be working on - Pokémon Go Fest 2022, Rhi's Arrival and A Radiant World. Meanwhile, the Great League and Great League and Great League Remix are currently running in the Go Battle League Season 11. This season has also seen the lowering of the level requirement for Candy XL and introduced the first Ultra Beast, Nihilego.
