Lost Planet 2 split-screen confirmed

Publish date: 2022-10-09

Capcom has confirmed that sci-fi shooter Lost Planet 2 will support split-screen co-op gameplay, in the tradition of the previous game from the same development team, Resident Evil 5. Lost Planet 2 also features four-player online co-op and 16-player multiplayer.

It also announced the European pre-order bonuses for Lost Planet 2 and Super Street Fighter IV. Early birds get a choice between three items for each.

Super Street Fighter IV pre-orders will come with either exclusive iPhone covers showing stylised Street Fighter characters, a T-shirt from an exclusive limited edition range, or a downloadable costume pack for the game.

The costume pack offers new costumes for Gen, Dhalsim, Blanka, Fei Long and Guile before they go on general sale.

People committing to buying Lost Planet 2 early will get a similar choice between an exclusive T-shirt, a collectible figurine of an Akrid monster, or a download of two multiplayer maps for the game.

The maps are Helix, an underwater mining facility where you swim between levels, or Back to the Island, a sandy atoll with wide-open spaces and a bridge to control.

Details of which retailers will be offering which specific pre-order bonuses are yet to come from Capcom.

Super Street Fighter IV is released on 30th April and Lost Planet 2 on 18th May, both for Xbox 360 and PS3.
