How to defeat The Nameless One in Minecraft Dungeons
Desert Temple boss The Nameless One has essentially three moves at its disposal - spawning skeletons, throwing fireballs, and creating multiple versions of itself to surround and attack you.
With many of these things coming one after another, it's very easy to be overwhelmed and suddenly be knocked out without realising where exactly you went wrong.
Thankfully, there is a trick to making this boss more manageable. When the Nameless One is holding still and chargeing its staff, go in up close and dish out a few melee attacks. Not only is this a clean window to get in some easy damage, but it means the line of skeletons which are spawned afterwards will be a short distance away from you.
After they spawn, run in a circle around The Nameless One, but not too far away. This lets you to dodge both the orb projectiles and the skeletons chasing, keeping you from harm and also allowing you to regenerate your abilities.
Also, if you get the distance right, the skeletons will collide with The Nameless One, causing a trickle of extra damage. As long as you don't attack The Nameless One too much while doing this, you can keep this up for some time.
The most difficult part is what follows, when The Nameless One spawns multiple versions of itself to surround you, each throwing a fireball at the same time.
This usually happens after the skeleton wave, so make sure you keep your health up for this part of the battle. It'll teleport before this attack, giving you some warning that it's coming. When it does, roll to the side to try avoid getting hit. This is difficult to time right, which is why having your health as high as possible - and / or having a healing potion at the ready - is important in case you are hit.
With that over, The Nameless One should then go back to charging its staff in preparation of spawning skeletons, starting the process over. The key is to use this skeleton wave as an opportunity to avoid attacks for a while, while also getting in some easy damage in at the same time. Best of luck!
