Xbox One S gets painted military green for 1TB Battlefield 1 console

Publish date: 2023-03-18

UPDATE 4/10/16: Following on from its announcement of the Battlefield 1 military green Xbox One S, Microsoft has today confirmed launch plans for the snazzy Storm Grey and cool Deep Blue Xbox One S paint jobs.

First, take a look at the pair below:

Now, how will you be able to buy one? Well, it's a little complicated. Each will be available in a bundle with a game - be that FIFA 17, Gears of War 4 or Battlefield 1 - for either £250 (500GB) or £300 (1TB).

Simple? Well, not quite. Some bundles are exclusive to certain retailers, too. Here's a handy table with all the options, include white and the aforementioned military green bundles, too:

ORIGINAL STORY 12/9/16:

Microsoft will release a "military green"-coloured 1TB size Xbox One S for the launch of Battlefield 1.

The console also includes a download version of Battlefield 1 plus a whole trench of DLC.

A white 500GB edition with a standard copy of Battlefield 1 and a month of EA Access is also available (and there's a grey 500GB edition for just the US, too).

Microsoft launched the Xbox One S with a limited number of white 2TB consoles, but these quickly ran out. The company trumpeted the speed at which they went, but did not detail how many were made available.

Eurogamer was since told that the 2TB model would only be revived for special game releases, as it will be in a red model for Gears of War 4.

The Xbox One S Battlefield 1 Special Edition Bundle, to give it its full name, includes the Battlefield 1 Early Enlister Deluxe Edition, the Hellfighter Pack, Red Baron Pack, Lawrence of Arabia Pack, a new visual appearance of the Behemoths, five Battlepacks and one month of EA Access.

It costs $349 in the US, a price point Microsoft usually translates to £299 in the UK.
