Dr. Mario World is getting online multiplayer
Nintendo has released a new trailer for the upcoming Dr. Mario World mobile game, and unlike some of its other games this one will allow you to play online with your friends.
With the game launching next week, Nintendo has announced players will be able to connect through Facebook or LINE to see their friends' progress, send them items and challenge them to real-time matches online.
In matches you'll need to clear viruses to build up an attack meter, when the meter is full your rival will get a flood of viruses and you win by completely filling their screen.
Just as in the single-player, there are multiple doctors you can play as: Dr. Peach, Dr. Yoshi, Dr. Toad and Dr. Luigi. Each has different attack power and defence abilities, so you'll need to decide carefully who to play as against your opponents.
Dr. Mario World will be released on Android and iOS on 10th July and pre-registration is available now. Check out the new trailer to find out more about how you can give your friends viruses.
