Pokémon Sun and Moon - Mega Blaziken, Swampert, Sceptile, Banette and Camerupt download codes for Blazikenite, Swampertite, Sceptilite, Banettite and Camperuptite

Publish date: 2023-03-09

Following on from their initial distribution to players who took part in an earlier online tournament, the Blazikenite, Sceptilite, and Swampertite Mega Stones for Mega Blaziken and Mega Swampert are now available via download code distrubution.

Alongside those, however, is a surprise distrubution of the Banettite and Cameruptite for Mega Banette and Mega Camerupt, too. That means four new Mega Stones added to the pile of Mega Evolutions available in Pokémon Sun and Moon, and you can read on below for how to download the Mega Stones and what the download codes are for Blazikenite, Swampertite, Sceptilite, Banettite and Cameruptite.

Do Pokémon Sun and Moon finally prove a weird fan theory?

Mega Blaziken, Mega Sceptile, Mega Swampert, Mega Banette, and Mega Camerupt download codes for Pokémon Sun and Moon

Rather than using a QR code, like has been done before with giveaways like that of the mythical Pokémon Magearna, the distrubution event for Blazikenite, Swampertite, Cameruptite, and Banettite works like the one for Marshadow, with it being tackled via a download code for a Mystery Gift.

Mega Blaziken, Mega Sceptile, Mega Swampert, Mega Banette, Mega Camerupt Mega Stones code:

Here's how, exactly, to download the Mega Stones in question via Mystery Gift:

  • Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
  • Select Receive Gift.
  • Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, and then Yes again to connect to the Internet.
  • Enter your code.
  • Watch as you receive Mega Stones.
  • Speak to the deliveryman in any Pokémon Center to pick up your Mega Stones.
  • Be sure to save your game!
  • When does the Blazikenite, Swampertite, Sceptilite, Banettite, and Cameruptite Mega Stone giveaway end?

We finally have an end date for the giveaways now, and it's a little closer than we thought. All of the Mega Stone codes will stop working at 23.59 UTC on October 31st, 2017.

While the codes are live, we suggest you download the Mega Stones as soon as possible - because the Mega Stones as soon as possible just in case - and, you know, because the Mega Evolutions for Blaziken, Swampert, Sceptile, Camerupt and Banette are definitely worth having access to anyway.

It's also worth noting that you can get your hands on the periodically-released Mega Stones much earlier, if you take part in specific online competitions when they're announced.

In this case, Cameruptite and Banettite were first made available to players back in May, if you took part in the 2017 International Challenge Competition during April.

It's also worth noting that you could have had your hands on the periodically-released Mega Stones slightly earlier, if you took part in specific online competitions when they were announced.

This is essentially the format for all of the Mega Stones: entrants into specific tournaments like the Kanto X Alola Regional Rumble Competition, or the monthly Championships, will receive downloads for the stones soon after, and those Mega Stones will then be made available to all players via download code about a month later.

We've compiled a complete list of Pokémon Sun and Moon Mega Stone locations in order to help you out with how and where to find all of them, but above is a quick list of all the Mega Stones you can get via download code specifically.

Finally, remember to take a look at our guide to Pokémon Bank, seeing as not all Pokémon, like those listed above, are available to catch in Sun and Moon!
