Fortnite - Cupid's Crossbow: Where to find and how to use the crossbows explained
Cupid's Crossbow is the seasonal Valentine's Day 2021 weapon in Fortnite.
You'll only be able to find this in-game item for a short period of time, so, if you're interested in giving it a try, you'll want to know where to find the Cupid's Crossbow.
It's also a good idea to know how to use the crossbow, since there are a number of timed challenges which rely on you dealing crossbow damage. The XP you receive from these challenges will help you climb the Battle Pass and unlock new Season 5 skins.
Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 3 Season 3 has arrived! New additions include Reality Seeds and Saplings and riding animals, along with the new Battle Pass, characters collection and map changes. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.

Where to find the Cupid's Crossbow in Fortnite
There is no dedicated spawn point for the Crossbow in Fortnite, instead you'll have to hunt it down just like a normal weapon.
Still, we have noticed some interesting things about how the crossbow spawns, which might help you find it.
Firstly the Cupid's Crossbow is an Epic level weapon, so it will have a purple glow, which means that it stands out easily in the Fortnite landscape. You might even be able to spot one as you glide down from the bus.
Secondly, and obviously, the cross is more likely to spawn within named locations, especially ones which tend to hold a higher quantity of loot, such as Colossal Coliseum.
Land at one of these locations and have a quick scout around - if you're lucky, you'll have to find a Cupid's Crossbow early on in the match.
The final way to find a Cupid's Crossbow, of course, is to kill a player who has one in their inventory.
Chapter 3 Season 3 has arrived - bringing with it a new Battle Pass, character collection, map locations and Victory Umbrella! You can now ride animals, find Reality Seeds, and use the new Grapple Glove, and Victory Crowns have returned. If you're after a specific Battle Pass skin, then it's a good idea to know how to get XP fast.
How to use the Cupid's Crossbow in Fortnite
The Cupid's Crossbow works in a similar manner to one-bullet-at-a-time sniper rifles in Fortnite - by this we mean that you'll have to reload after taking a shot, which does make the crossbow a rather slow weapon to use.
The advantage of the Cupid's Crossbow, however, is that it has unlimited ammunition, so, if this is your preferred kind of weapon, you should try and get a crossbow as early into the match as possible.
It appears that the Cupid's Crossbow can deal between 50 to 70 damage depending on your aim.
The Cupid's Crossbow even has a sniper rifle styled scope to help you pick off far away foes.
